Our journey began over 20 years ago with our founder, Kerrol Lewis, who was inspired by his love for the rich and vibrant cuisine of his homeland, Jamaica. Determined to share the bold flavors and cultural essence of Jamaican food, Kerrol launched a catering service that quickly became beloved by the community.
Today, that vision is enriched by the contributions of Kerrol's Trinidadian partner and wife, Gillian (affectionately known as "Gigi"), who brings her passion for traditional Trinidadian dishes to the table. Together, we operate The Jamaican Dumpling Restaurant and Catering, uniting these two incredible culinary traditions under one roof.
